Shavua Tov! Wondering what we discussed this past Shabbat? Here is a link to Friday Night’s D’Var Torah: The Holiness of Sacrifice.

On Saturday, we discussed the salt that needed to be provided with the offerings in the Temple and considered why the salt was so important? Was it because it was part of the ocean and thus part of creation? Was it practical, because it is a preservative? Was it to make sure the food is seasoned for God as it would be for an important person?
