Shavua Tov! Wondering what we discussed this past Shabbat? Here is a link to Friday Night’s D’Var Torah: I Told You So.

On Saturday, we discussed why God said God will hide God’s countenance from the Israelites and see how they fare, because they are treacherous and disloyal. Was God hiding from the Israelites so they could not find God as a punishment? Was it because God no longer wanted to watch the Israelites breaking the commandments? Was it because God no longer trusted the Israelites? Was it a test to see what they would do without God’s help? What do you think? Here is a link to the source sheet.
