Shabbat Shalom! This week’s Torah Portion is Pesach Shabbat/Pesach Day 3 (from Ki Tisa), Exodus 33:12–34:26. I hope you will join us for Shabbat Services this week: Friday night at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Please note that our Yizkor Service will be immediately following the Saturday morning Shabbat Service, at approximately 12:15/12:30 p.m.
Torah Question of the Week:
The children traditionally ask the four questions at Passover, but adults can ask questions, too! Here are some you might ask/discuss: Which of the Seder plate symbols speaks to you the most and why? What does it mean for you personally to be descended from Avraham and Sarah and which of their character traits do you try to embody? Since we are supposed to feel as if we ourselves were delivered from Egypt, how do you use that knowledge and feeling to make the world a better place? The Seder reminds us that redemption is not yet complete: What is your vision of redemption, both personally and communally? Passover is a great opportunity for discussion and introspection. Do you have other questions you like to ask at your Seder? Please share them with me! Chag Sameach!

(Note the video and written summary are about Parashat Ki Tisa. This week’s portion is not the full portion, but begins with Moses asking God to go forward in their midst.)
I hope to see you at services tonight! Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach!
