Shabbat Shalom! This week’s Torah Portion is Va’eira, Exodus 6:2-9:35. I hope you will join us for Shabbat Services this week: Friday, January 24, at 7:30 p.m.
Torah Question of the Week:
When have you taken too long to remember something you should be doing for another person? Do you remember the simple tasks, like taking out the trash, and forget the serious ones, like checking in on a friend who has been sick or who has suffered a loss a few months ago? In this week’s Torah portion, God tells Moses, “I have heard the cries of the Israelite slaves. I have remembered My covenant.” It takes the conversation with Moses for God to remember God’s promise (after 400 years!). How do you help yourself remember those things you need to do for others? Can you enlist anyone to help you remember?

I hope to see you at services! Shabbat Shalom!
