Shabbat Shalom! Parashat Ki Tisa

Shabbat Shalom and Chag Purim Sameach! This week’s Torah Portion is Ki Tisa, Exodus 30:11-34:35. I hope you will join us for Shabbat Services this week: Friday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 15, at 10:00 a.m. Tonight, even though Purim ends at sundown, we will celebrate a little more with Purim songs and hamantaschen! Feel free to come in costume!

Torah Question of the Week:

What does it mean to be counted as part of a community?  And what does it mean if you are not counted? In this week’s Torah portion, Moses is asked to count the Israelites, but only the adult males. Have you ever faced a time when your presence wasn’t valued as much as others around you and how did it make you feel? How can you ensure that those around you feel they have equal value?
