Shabbat Shalom! This week’s Torah Portion is Sh’lach L’cha, Numbers 13:1–15:41. I hope you will join us for Shabbat Services this week! Services are at the usual times: Friday night at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday morning service at 10:00 a.m.

Because of the holiday weekend, we will hold our services on Zoom only this week. If you will be traveling, we hope you will join us virtually! While services will also be available as usual on our YouTube livestream, we invite you to come on Zoom, so we can see each other’s faces during and after the service. Torah Question of the Week:

Have you ever lost your patience and not followed the instructions you were given? What was the consequence? In this week’s Torah portion, Moses strikes a rock to give the Israelites water instead of speaking to the rock as God had commanded. As a result, he is not permitted to enter the land of Israel. Have the consequences you’ve experienced ever been this significant? And was losing your patience worth it?
