Shabbat Shalom! Parashat Ach’rei Mot-K’doshim

Shabbat Shalom! This week’s Torah Portion is a double Torah Portion: Ach’rei Mot, Leviticus 16:1–18:30, and K’doshim, Leviticus 19:1–20:27. I hope you will join us for Shabbat Services this week: Friday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m.

Torah Question of the Week:

What are some of your guiding principles? What related actions do you take to make sure you live by them? In this week’s Torah portion, we are taught that we are not only prohibited from murdering someone, but that we also must not stand by when another is in danger and must not take revenge. When we say we are trustworthy or honorable or caring, what else does that imply for how we live our lives and what actions we take?
