On Zoom
Join us for a brief Ma’ariv service followed by a video Megillat Esther reading in which you can watch the yad move across the scroll and read the English translation at the same time. The video was prepared in 2021 by Rabbi Oren Steinitz and features ten Rabbis, Cantors and chanters, each taking a different chapter.

FREE ONLINE LEARNING OPPORTUNITY: TA’ANIT ESTHER WITH HADAR

​​​​Join the Hadar Institute for a special day of learning with Hadar online on the fast day before Purim. In this online yom iyyun (day of learning), we’ll consider the ways in which chesed (love as kindness) is not only a kind of action, but also a spiritual practice that transforms the giver, and a means to build a spirituality aligned community. Join for all or parts of the day’s program.
 
In addition to traditional Shacharit, S’lichot and Mincha services, topics include “Compassion and the Heart of Jewish Spirituality” with Rabbi Shai Held, “This is My God: Diapers, Care, and Redemption” with Rabbi Tali Adler, and a Conversation on “Relationships of Caring: End of Life”.
