Shabbat Shalom! Parashat D’varim

Shabbat Shalom! This week’s Torah Portion is D’varim, Deuteronomy 1:1–3:22. I hope you will join us for Shabbat Services this week: Friday night at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday morning service at 10:00 a.m.

Torah Question of the Week:

Has someone ever tried to explain to you about a mistake your parents made in order to help you avoid making it, too? In this week’s Torah portion, Moses tells the Israelite people how their immediate ancestors had angered God and therefore were shut out of the land of Canaan. Have you ever tried to help someone not repeat a mistake that someone else has made? How have you done that?
