Shabbat Shalom! This week’s Torah Portion is Pesach Shabbat/Pesach Day 7 (from B’shalach), Exodus 13:17-15:26. I hope you will join us for Shabbat Services this week: Friday night at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m. Please note that our Yizkor Service will be immediately following the Saturday morning Shabbat Service, at approximately 12:00 noon.
Torah Question of the Week:
How do you celebrate your freedom? What is most precious to you about being free? During the Festival of Pesach we celebrate the Exodus from Egypt. We are to remember that we all left Egypt: we were all slaves and we are now free. With this freedom comes great responsibility. It is up to us to make our world a better place and to ensure freedom for all its inhabitants. What is the change that you want to make in this world? How will you bring it about?

(Note the video and written summary are about Parashat B’shalach. This week’s portion is not the full B’shalach portion, but ends with the waters of Marah.)
I hope to see you at services tonight! Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach!
