Shabbat Shalom! This week’s Torah Portion is Vayeitzei, Genesis 28:10-32:3. I hope you will join us for Shabbat Services this week: Friday, December 6, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, December 7, at 10:00 a.m.
Torah Question of the Week:
How hard are you willing to work for something you want? And if you are thwarted the first time, are you willing to put the same effort in again? In this week’s Torah portion, Jacob works for his uncle Lavan for seven years to earn Rachel’s hand in marriage, only to be tricked into marrying Leah, her older sister. He is then allowed to marry Rachel, too, but must work for another seven years. What would you have done? Is there anything you would be willing to do double the work to attain?

I hope to see you at services! Shabbat Shalom!
