Shabbat Shalom! Parashat Ki Tavo

Shabbat Shalom! This week’s Torah Portion is Ki Tavo, Deuteronomy 26:1-29:8. I hope you will join us for Shabbat Services this week: Friday, September 20, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, September 21, at 10:00 a.m.

Torah Question of the Week:

How important is it to you to know your family history? How many generations back do you go? In this week’s Torah portion, when the Israelites bring their first fruits to the Temple, they must make a declaration beginning with the story of the Israelites going to Egypt, being enslaved, being brought out by God with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and being led to this land of milk and honey. What is the value of connecting your current actions to the past experiences of your family?
