Have you ever said to someone, “You just don’t understand”? Have you found that you interpret statements completely differently from how someone else does? In this week’s Torah portion, after trying to build a tower up to the Heavens, God confounded their speech, so they could not understand one another (usually interpreted as different languages). How do you avoid your speech and understanding being misconstrued?
