On Saturday, we discussed the tribal leaders that were selected to assist Moses in adjudicating the Israelites’ questions. In Deuteronomy, Moses tells the people that each tribe selected its men of wisdom and understanding/discernment, but in Exodus, Yitro told Moses to make those selections.
