Torah Question of the Week:

Have you ever decided that you wanted something other than what was offered to you, even if what was offered to you seemed as if it should have been better? In this week’s Torah portion, the tribes of Reuven and Gad ask to stay on the east side of the Jordan River because it is so good for their many cattle. In order for their request to be granted, they agree to help the Israelites claim the land of Canaan before returning to their desired home. What have you been willing to do to be able to make a different choice than what was offered to or expected of you?
