How do you decide the consequences of negative behavior? Does the reason for the behavior matter? In this week’s Torah portion Pinchas is rewarded for defending God’s laws, but the way he defended them was by killing two people. Do you think a negative act can be worthy of a neutral or a positive consequence? When and why?
