Shabbat Shalom! Parashat Yitro

I hope you will join us for Shabbat Services this week! Friday, February 6, at 7:30 p.m. is our Scout Shabbat, a special recognition of Jewish scouts and the connection between their work in the community and Judaism and Jewish organizations. For security purposes and for our Oneg counts, we ask that everyone who is planning to come to RSVP, even if you are a “regular”. You can do so by calling the office or by going to https://my.linkpod.site/Scout-Shabbat-Bnai-Shalom. Thank you!

We will also have our usual Shabbat morning services on Saturday, February 7, at 10:00 a.m.

Torah Question of the Week:

Do you know when to ask for help? Or do you tend to want to do everything yourself? In this week’s Torah portion, Moses tries to answer all the disputes and questions that the Israelites bring to him. His Father-in-Law Jethro points out to him that this is not right, that the responsibility of doing all of this himself will wear him down and is not good for the Israelites, either. Where in your life could you find other people to help you and lighten your burden?
