On Saturday, we discussed the famous verse, “Tzedek, Tzedek tirdof” – “Justice, justice shall you pursue and why the word “Tzedek” is repeated. Is it to tell us that fairness and righteousness are the cornerstone qualities for appointing judges? Is it to show that justice must be pursued by both the leaders and the people?
